During the Summer Home Medicine workshop, we look at preserving the vibrancy of summer and connecting to the healing in the land.
We will be doing a herb walk and harvesting as well as making hot-infused oils, salves, lotions and glycerites. We can make tinctures, but not all groups like to work with alcohol, so hot-infused glycerites are a great alternative, cheaper, and alcohol-free. Infused vinegars can also be made in summer too. It's also a good time to dry herbs for use as teas.
